Sunrise over the River Thames and the east of London.
Completed in 1873, Butler's Wharf used to be the largest warehouse complex on the Thames. It was a shipping wharf and the largest tea warehouse in the world. Following the transition to container shipping, the complex has had many uses and is now a mix high class homes and dining. The pier is place for many pleasure cruises, including the replica paddle steamers.
The Thames is often very muddy in colour as it is a major tidal estuary. By taking a long exposure at dawn, you get the reflected light off the surface, which was mostly magentas and violets on this fine morning.
