Finnich Glen

Finnich Glen, Scotland.

This 100 ft deep gorge in the Stirlingshire countryside is redolent with tales of witchcraft, druids, and ritual. It is easy to see why when you make the precarious trip down here. Rich red sandstone and dark waters contrast with effervescent green mosses on the canyon walls.

The gorge is home to a weathered stone known as the Devil's Pulpit. The gorge has become part of a tourist trail since the filming of a scene of Outlander here.
