OK Kids It's Dinner Time

Atlantic puffin bringing home a catch of sand eels at Staple Island, off the Northumberland coast, England.

Atlantic puffins, like most seabirds appear to breed with one partner for life. They spend six months of winter out at sea and return to the same nest site in April to breed. The Farne Islands are busy with over 40,000 breeding pairs by late May.
